BigByte Corporation Recruits Jim Irvine as Director of Business Development
Fremont, CA (July 25, 2005) – BigByte Corporation, a global warranty management services company, announced today that Jim Irvine has joined the company filling the position of Director of Business Development. This is an important position due to the new facility expansion supporting up to 65" LCD & Plasma TV and Display warranty repair services.
Mr. Irvine joins our management team bringing new insights and extensive in-depth knowledge of the LCD & Plasma market place. Prior to coming to BigByte, he spent eight years at Incline Global Technology Services performing business development and various other operations management roles, and adds assurance to the success of BigByte’s growth strategy.
BigByte has re-entered the LCD & Plasma panel repair business with installation of new, state of the art, large panel repair capability. The new production line, installed in the Fremont, CA facility, is in a class 100 clean room environment and is process capable for large panel sizes up to 65". The equipment set provides capability of polarizer removal and lamination, autoclave processing, TAB/Flex/COG/COF removal and bonding and various other testing and repair functions.

BigByte Re-Enters LCD & Plasma Panel Repair Market with Focus on Large Panel
Fremont, CA (July 22, 2005) – BigByte Corporation announced today that is has re-entered the LCD & Plasma panel repair business with installation of new repair capability of up to 65" panels, according to Mike Perry, Chief Operating Officer.
The new production line, installed in the Fremont, CA facility, is in a class 100 clean room environment and is process capable for large panel sizes up to 65". The equipment set provides capability of polarizer removal and lamination, autoclave processing, TAB/Flex/COG/COF removal and bonding and various other testing and repair functions for both LCD and Plasma.
"BigByte had entered the LCD panel repair market in the early 90’s, developed production repair processing as stated above, and later departed from the venture", states Mike Perry, "and given our prior experience and current market demand, we are pleased to re-enter with a new, current technology, state of the art repair facility."
To further support warranty service and repair of large screen TV and Monitor products, BigByte has also established a network of over 8,000 qualified service technicians blanketing North America with on-site service and repair capability, whether in or out of warranty.

BigByte receives ISO 9001:2000 certification
Fremont, CA (June 24, 2004) – BigByte Corporation announces that it has now attained its ISO 9001:2000 certification, according to Mike Perry, VP Sales & Marketing. The final audit was performed during the week of May 17th and BigByte nicely passed free of any non-conformances.

Quanta Storage Appoints BigByte as Exclusive North American Warranty Service Center
Fremont, CA (March 3, 2004) – BigByte Corporation announces that Quanta Storage Inc., a major Taiwan based optical disc drive OEM, has entered into a long term contract with BigByte as their Exclusive Warranty Service Provider for North America, according to Mike Perry, VP Sales & Marketing.
With this engagement, BigByte provides total RMA logistics and support, warranty screening and full product repair at its recently expanded, Fremont, CA facility. "We are factory tooled, trained and in full production for all CD, DVD and Combo R/W (read/write) Optical Drives, with other new products also being implemented" states Mike Perry, "Given our extensive factory material and technical support, BigByte is also the best solution for Out of Warranty repair as well."
